Gala Gloves presents the hat collection designed by Laura Pellone
Some legacies are protected by preserving them unchanged. Others continue to live because someone chooses to see them through new eyes.
For almost a century, the story of Gala Gloves has taken shape through skilled hands: those of the master glovemakers, cutters and seamstresses who, generation after generation, have passed down the craft of Neapolitan glovemaking. It is a profession built on patience, precision and sensitivity, where every detail is born of time and experience.

Today, that story begins a new chapter.
This is how the first Gala Gloves hat collection came to life: a project that expands the brand's world without straying from its roots. More than a simple product extension, it is a natural evolution of the Contemporary Tradition that Alessandro Pellone has always placed at the heart of his work: preserving the family legacy while interpreting it through the present.
A new generation joins the story
With Alessandro's eldest daughter, Laura Pellone, joining the company, Gala Gloves welcomes a new energy.
Laura brings a young, confident perspective, a personal sensibility and the desire to contribute to her family's story without simply repeating it. Her vision emerges from the meeting of fashion, memory and place: worlds that, in Naples, have never truly been separate.
Long fascinated by the city's history, Laura is especially drawn to the less obvious side of Naples. The city beyond the familiar routes, made up of hills, stairways, villages, terraces, gardens and ancient paths that suddenly open onto the sea.
It is a city understood through its landscape: by climbing, descending, crossing its changing elevations and following the traces left over the centuries.
The collection draws its inspiration from this hidden geography.
A tribute to her father
Before being a fashion project, this collection is a personal gesture.
It is dedicated to Alessandro Pellone and his distinctive style: a bold elegance that brings together echoes of the past and contemporary sensibility. The flat caps he regularly wears became the starting point for Laura's new story.
The hat thus becomes a symbol of the bond between father and daughter, between what is inherited and what can still be imagined.
Laura does not abandon the language her family has built; she expands it. She begins with tradition, observes it with respect and guides it towards a new form. The result is a collection that weaves together family memory, personal style and Neapolitan culture.
Naples, seen from its hills
Each hat bears the name of a real yet little-known place in the city.
Not the most celebrated monuments or the most familiar images of Naples, but names preserved on maps, in neighbourhood stories and in the memory of those who pass through these places every day.
Tradition continues, taking on a new form
With this collection, Gala Gloves completes its world through a new accessory while keeping its identity intact.
From gloves to hats, the connecting thread remains the same: attention to form, the pursuit of fine materials, the value of time and a deep bond with Naples.
Laura Pellone's collection does not represent a break with the past. On the contrary, it shows that a tradition can continue to live only when it finds the courage to evolve.
A tribute to her father.
A new step for his daughter.
A family story that continues, generation after generation.
Always true to its roots. Always contemporary.
