A glove is not built quickly. It is built with the patience of a workshop in Naples.

Steps, from a hide to a pair of gloves

Our hands, for your hands.

Each pair travels through the same hands, in the same order. The way it has been done in Naples since 1930.

  • Selecting.

The leather is chosen by hand. Cervo, peccary, nappa, suede. Each hide is read for its grain, weight, and finish.

  • Artisan hands using scissors to cut rich brown leather, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship in glove-making.

    Cutting.

Each pair is cut on a wooden form. By hand, with steel shears, against the natural lines of the leather.

  • The creation of a pair of premium black leather gloves with elegant stitching detail

    Sewing.

Saddle stitch. One needle, two threads, one hand at a time. The seam decides the life of the glove.

  • Artisans collaborating on a custom leather glove design at the Gala workshop in Naples

    Finishing.

Cuff, lining, edge. The slow work of bringing the pair together. Pressed, ironed, eased over the wooden form.

  • Inspecting.

A last pass by hand. Stitch by stitch, before the pair leaves Naples for someone, somewhere.

Hands gently pressing on premium leather, reflecting the elegance of Italian craftsmanship in glove making.

Like a second skin.

Every pair is conceived to fit perfectly, as if the design were already imprinted into the hide. A little like the marble used by Michelangelo: the figure waits inside the stone, and the sculptor only takes away what does not belong.

The artist has chosen the limits in advance, to draw the best from each single piece. We do the same with each hide.

When the twenty-five are not enough.

When the twenty-five steps are not enough, we make bespoke. The pair is built around your hand. Leather, lining, stitch, cuff. Each cut from scratch for you alone.

Behind every pair, the same quiet road: bringing the Made in Naples glove tradition into Italian homes and into the world.
