At Expo Osaka 2025, we had the unique opportunity to share the essence of our craft: the Neapolitan art of glove-making. It wasn’t just a demonstration—it was a journey into our world, where time is not a constraint but a companion.

Time is the essence of our craft. It’s the silent ingredient in every stitch, every cut, every gesture that turns a piece of leather into something alive. To make a single pair of Gala Gloves, it takes over 25 detailed steps, each performed by hand. No shortcuts. No rush. Only time, skill, and care passed down through generations.

During the workshop, we invited visitors to experience this slowness—not as delay, but as value. They watched our artisans work, not with machines but with tools shaped by memory. They saw how every moment is used with intention: to choose the perfect hide, to hide a flaw rather than cut it away, to make the glove embrace the hand like a second skin.
