Anna e Raffaele Muscariello.

A Napoli, fratello e sorella imparano l'arte guantaia con pazienza e cura. Anna diventerà madre di sette figli, e a tutti tramanderà il mestiere.

Gaetano Pellone.

Uno dei sette figli di Anna decide di portare avanti il mestiere. Apre il proprio laboratorio, con audacia e pazienza. Ancora oggi vi entra ogni giorno.

1990

Alessandro Pellone.

Il secondogenito di Gaetano prende in mano l'azienda. Dà al marchio un nuovo nome: Gala Gloves, dalle quattro lettere della famiglia. Gaetano, Antonietta, Lorenzo, Alessandro. Padre, madre, fratello, figlio.

The opening to international markets is Alessandro's quiet contribution. The United Kingdom comes first, and is the brand's home for years. Then France. Then Japan, where, today, our gloves find some of their most attentive readers.

To speak of Italian gloves has always meant, in truth, to speak of Neapolitan gloves. Our hands tell the same story.
